About this piece

This beautiful lidded jar is topped with decorated with a purple glaze, yellow stars, and a smiling star shaped knob. The jar was thrown on a wheel as well as the lid, the star knob was handbuilt, and the little yellow stars were handpainted. The glazes used are food safe so you can fill it with tea, nuts, sugar, or other foods.

Care instructions

Although you technically can put this piece in the dishwasher, I would recommend hand washing it to give it extra longevity. The knob on the lid is fragile, definitely do not put that part in the dishwasher.

Everything is sent with DPD as they seem to be rated the best by employees - and I don’t believe in exploiting people! Your parcel will be sent within 3-5 working days, and once it is in their hands, it should take 1-2 days to arrive to you. It will be sent in reused packaging for extra sustainability, and I’d love it if you could reuse that packaging again! If not, please do recycle it depending on your local authorities.

I am radically left wing and always have been. I think the way we are trashing the planet while treating people in the Global South as if they weren’t worth common dignity is unacceptable, and when I can, I donate money to charities against the far right.
